ミッドタウン・ガーデンの微地形を3Dスキャンし、そのデータを基にコンクリートキャンバスでデザインされたプリミティブなオブジェ群が現れます。普段は何もない場所に出現したオブジェに、人々はどう反応するのでしょうか。立ち止まる、観察する、写真に撮る、さわる、座る、寝る…。都市空間は便利な環境が当たり前となり、人々の意識や身体は受動的になりつつあります。日常で意識することのない都市の潜在的な情報を可視化、立体化することで、人々のさまざまな感性や行動を刺激して、あらためて自身が住む環境での過ごし方を発見する機会を創出します。
URBAN VOICE
Can people question convenient environments that have become ordinary in everyday life? We aim to create primitive architecture that evokes the natural sensitivity of human beings. Using 3D micro-landform data of the Midtown Garden, we created an installation made of Concrete Canvas that captures subconscious information of surrounding landforms. By touching, sitting, lying on the canvas, people discover the way of being that connects the environment and the physical body through these objects. “The Ability to Reinterpret the City.” We believe that this experience leads to creating ecological and sustainable attitudes towards society.
